ANGELA, our heroine, is one of the players. Angela works as a dancer on the city’s East Side for “Club Platinum”, a host for some of society's seedier characters. She's been in the game for five years - five years longer than she wanted. Hustling money nightly has become a treacherous, roller coaster ride for her where danger and empty promises lurk around every corner. But despite the money that she’s stashed away and an adoring father who begs her daily to come home, Angela finds that she can't leave. Her soul craves the money like an addict.

Angela and her best friend Sarah, another dancer at Platinum, seduce a wealthy customer into a private party at his lavish hotel suite. He pays them for their time and “favors”, otherwise known as drugs, but it’s not enough for greedy Sarah. After his refusal to pay for the rest of the evening, Sarah unleashes her revenge. She secretly mixes his cocaine with a drug that triggers a violent heart attack. Despite Angela’s attempts to help Joseph, Sarah forcefully pulls her devastated friend from the suite leaving him for dead.

A believer in karma, Angela's intuition tells her that retribution is on the way. It’s not a question of if, but when.
